This is a quick Introduction to wet felting.  You will wet felt a wool bead and then construct a fun keychain/bag charm! This is a great project for a girls night out or tween-teen birthday party project. (30 min - 1 Hour class)

This is a quick Introduction to wet felting.  You will wet felt wool over a bar of handmade soap. Each student will choose their preferred color of wool and optional luxury fiber. This would be a great class for a girls night out, date night or tween-teen birthday party. (30 min - 1 Hour class)

Let your imagination take over and create a whimsical needle felted gnome! (2-3 Hour class)

Introductory wet felting class.  Learn to make beautiful flowers with wool and other natural fibers. They are complete with a felted wire stem! (2-3 Hour class)

Learn basic needle felting on fabric (felt or linen, approx 6" x 6").  Students can freehand a design or choose from a variety of stencil or iron-on transfer designs. Finished pieces can then be framed or displayed in an embroidery hoop etc. (2-3 Hour class)

Needle felt a picture with wool on Linen or wool (approx 8" x 10").  Students will choose their design from a library of iron-on transfer designs to then use as a guide. I like to compare this technique to coloring with pastels - you have "lines" to follow or fill in and can blend wool colors to achieve more detail and depth. (4 Hour class)

This is a beginner-friendly needle felted landscape. We will create a beautiful sunset sky with a silhouetted desert landscape scene.  This fun class will cover skills including color blending and the use of fine gauge felting needles to create crisp lines and shapes. No experience needed, all supplies will be provided and each student will take home a completed work of art that is approximately 6" x 8". This class will take approximately 3-4 hours. 

Needle and wet felt a whimsical mushroom! We will first wet felt the mushroom top and then learn how to felt a stem using a wire armature. Then you will learn how to firmly attach individual components together to create a seamless and sturdy finished product.  (3-4 Hour class)

Needle felt a bumble bee! These little guys are all fluff and no sting - they are sure to create a buzz and would be a great addition to your wet felted spring flowers! The finished bumble bee will be 3-4" long. (2-3 Hour class)

 This is another beginner-friendly wet felting class where you will create a beautiful decorative vase.  In this class you will learn the basic fundamentals of wet felting over an open resist and how to incorporate embellishment fibers to create shine, color gradients and artistic interest.  All fibers and tools are provided and each student will go home with a complete project that is approximately 6-8" tall by 4-5" wide.  This class will take approximately 4 hours.  
 

  We will be creating 11x14" sections of felt inspired by beautiful Agate Rock Slices.  The great thing about this class is that the design is completely abstract so every picture will be unique and there is no right or wrong way to create it!   We will use a combination of wool prefelt, merino wool fiber, bamboo, viscose, silk fiber and/or fabric, yarns, and more to create a piece of felt that resembles layers of stone and crystals. This class will take approximately 4 hours. 

Needle felt a whimsical mushroom! Choose your mushroom style and colors and then learn how to needle felt these "fun"-gis over a wire armature.  Mushrooms can then be mounted in one of a variety containers or frames or student can bring their own. (3 hour class)

   Just in time for Fall! Learn to wet felt a soft and luxurious cowl style neck warmer that can double as a headband/ear warmer!  (2-3 hour class)

   Just in time for cooler temps! Learn to wet felt a pair of fingerless gloves.  Made with your choice of wool and silk colors. In this class you will learn the basics of felting over a resist and pattern design for a custom-fit wearable item. There is an option for a traditional mitten pattern if preferred. (3 hour class)

Needle felt a spooky landscape picture with us! This class would be the perfect project for a Halloween Felting Party! (3-4 Hour class)

Learn to needle felt a sweet little pumpkin! These 6-8" pumpkins will add a nice touch to your fall décor for years to come! (2-3 hour class)

Have a "spook-tacular" time felting a cute little ghostie and then arranging it in a Halloween themed vignette. Participants will need to bring a frame or shallow box etc to use for the vignette background (recommended size 6"x6" minimum and up to 6"x8" max). All other materials will be provided. This would be the perfect Halloween/Fall date night or girls night out project! (2 hour class)

Needle felt a festive Santa Gnome Ornament! These little guys are a perfect project for a Felting Christmas Party! (2 Hour class)

Wet felt a festive Christmas tree using your choice of wool, luxury fiber and yarn! Trees can be displayed on a stand (pictured) or can be free standing.  This would be a fun project for a Felting Christmas Party! (2-3 Hour class)

Needle felt a fluffy Christmas Sheep! This class will focus on needle felting a sturdy core shape and how to work with curly sheep locks.  This would be another fun project for a Felting Christmas Party! (2-3 Hour class)

Create a one of a kind Needle Felted Snowman. A wide variety of embellishments and a wooden base are also provided.  This would be another fun project for a Felting Christmas Party! (3 Hour class)

Create a one of a kind Needle Felted stocking that will be treasured for generations! Stockings can be burlap, linen, felt etc (requires pre-order at least 2 weeks in advance).  This would be another fun project for a Felting Christmas Party! (3 Hour class)

Learn to needle felt an adorable little flower fairy!  This class teaches felting a doll using an advanced skill wire armature (arms and legs).  Finished fairy will be approximately 6" tall. (4 Hour class)

Learn to needle felt a Waldorf-style fairy over a basic wire armature (arms, no legs/solid body). Each student can choose the "season" or color theme of their fairy. Finished fairy will be approximately 6-8" tall. (4 Hour class)

Learn to Needle felt a charming and whimsical pincushion.  Bring your favorite teacup or small bowl to house your unique creation! (bowl pictured is a small wooden salad bowl found at a thrift store!).  Your finished piece will be decorative, yet functional and would make the perfect gift for your favorite crafter. (4 hour class)

Whooo wants to learn to needle felt this adorable little owl?! This class will teach slightly more advanced felting skills for creating proper body proportions, facial/beak construction. Approximately 5" tall. (4 Hour class)

Join us for this super fun wet felting class and create a beautiful birdhouse that can be hung outdoors for your feathered friends or kept inside as a decorative piece. The project will be wet felted using wool batting over a resist. A wide variety of wool colors will be available to choose from! (3 hour class)

The project will be wet felted using wool over a closed resist. A wide variety of wool and luxury fiber colors will be available to choose from! (3-4 hour class)

 Join us for this super fun Nuno felting class and create a beautiful, one of a kind triangular scarf (aka French scarf).  The scarf is made with super soft wool over a silk gauze base and is reversible!  (4 hour class)

Learn to needle felt a cute fish over a basic wire armature. Needle felted goldfish are the perfect pets - you never have to clean a fishbowl and they don't require feeding! =) Finished size is 4-6" in length.  (3-4 Hour class)

Learn to needle felt classic woodland critters and create your own fairytale forest! This class will teach slightly more advanced felting skills for creating proper body proportions, facial feature construction etc. This will be a series of class with one critter being completed during each 4 hour session. You can take one or all of the sessions! Each "critter" is about 4-5" tall.  *see Wet Felted Woodland Treehouse to create a home for your new friends!

Learn to wet felt over an open resist.  Students will create a freestanding woodland treehouse that will make the perfect home for a child's woodland critters, gnomes or  fairies. "Just add imagination!" (3 Hour class)

Learn to Nuno Felt a beautiful scarf.  Nuno felting is a wet felting technique where wool is felted onto a base fabric such as silk.  In this class students will  design a one-of-a-kind wearable work of art! (5-6 Hour class, depends on individual time to complete design/layout phase) (Max Class Size: 4 students)

Learn to Wet felt over a closed resist.  In this class students will felt a beautiful bowl or vase to compliment any style of décor. You will have a wide variety of fiber colors to choose from.  We will explore adding different textures through the use of luxury fibers and embellishments. (4 Hour class)

This wet felting workshop will elevate your wet felting game for sure! I will walk you through laying out a simp flower design on a fabric base in the morning. We will then break for lunch (brown bag it or order from a local cafe) for about an hour.  Then in the afternoon, I will take you through the wet felting process to create a beautiful wool painting suitable for framing.  Your finished piece will be approximately 18" x 24".  This is an all-day (6-8 hour) class. (Max Class size: 4 students)

Join us for a fun needle felted landscape workshop! Sometimes referred to as "painting with wool," learn the basic principles and techniques for creating a beautiful landscape with depth and texture.  We will create an approximately 8x10" summer landscape with rolling hills, fluffy clouds, flowers and maybe a sheep or two! You can follow my lead or add your own creative touch with your details! This class will last up to 3 hours.  

This Intermediate/Advanced class will transport you to the magical world of Middle-Earth while you needle felt a cozy Hobbit House nestled under an enchanted tree. I recommend scheduling this project over at least 2 days. However, an experienced felter may be able to complete it in a (long) single day. Participants will need to bring a shadow box or similar container to house their structure. 

 Join us for this super fun wet felting class and create a beautiful Christmas stocking to complement your holiday decor! The project will be wet felted using wool over a closed resist. A wide variety of wool and luxury fiber colors will be available to choose from! (3-4 hour class)

 Join us for this super fun wet felting class and create a magical pair of elf slipper ornaments to complement your holiday decor! The project will be wet felted using wool over a closed and "paired" resist. A wide variety of wool and luxury fiber colors will be available to choose from! Finished ornaments are approximately 4-6" long. ( 3 hour class)

Nuno felt a beautiful flower onto a silk background. In this class, students will learn techniques such as blending wool colors and fiber layout for depth and detail.  I will walk you through laying out a flower design on a silk base in the morning. We will then break for lunch  for about an hour.  Then in the afternoon, I will take you through the wet felting process to create a beautiful wool painting suitable for framing.  (8 hour class, Max class size 4)

In this all-day class, you will begin by hand dyeing silk fabric in the morning.  We will then break for lunch (bring your own or order from a local cafe) for about an hour. Then, in the afternoon, we will layout and wet felt wool and other fibers onto your dyed silk.   (8 hour class, Max class size 4)

Learn to create a realistic needle felted moth or butterfly. The final piece will be slightly larger than life size and suitable for mounting in a shadow box or other display.  (6 Hour Class)

Learn to wet felt over a closed resist to create a fun and functional work of art!  Students will choose fiber for a custom blended wool batt to use in wet felting a boho-style purse ($100) or smaller tote/purse ($75). (6-8 Hour class)

This is a multi-session class (likely 4-5 sessions over 1-2 months). Design a landscape with a wet felted background and needle felted detailing. Students choose their subject and design with my assistance (picture is an example for reference only).  I will then guide the student with layout, felting techniques, fiber selection and finishing touches. $100 per 5 hour session.
