Fiber Art Care Guide

General Info:
Your piece is made from natural fibers such as wool, silk, alpaca, and bamboo. These materials are durable but should be treated with care. Please note:

• Fiber art pieces are not intended as toys and may contain small parts that could pose a choking hazard.
   
• Pets (especially cats and dogs) are often attracted to wool—keep items safely out of their reach!
   

Cleaning Instructions

Wearables (Scarves, Hats, Purses, etc.):

• Hand wash in cold water only.
   
• Use a mild detergent made for wool/silk or baby shampoo.
   
• Do not scrub or wring out the fabric. Gently squeeze out water and reshape.
   
• Lay flat to dry.
   
• Spot cleaning is preferred whenever possible.
   
• Many items are hand-dyed. While great care has been taken to set the dyes, please use caution when pairing with light-colored clothing.
   

Decorative & 3D Pieces (Wall Art, Sculptures):

• Lightly dust with a dry cloth or feather duster.
   
• Canned air may be used with care—avoid high pressure near delicate fibers or added embellishments (e.g., feathers, beads, etc.).
   

Storage Tips

• Store away from areas prone to bugs or rodents.
   
• Use an airtight container (such as a freezer or vacuum-sealed bag for flat items).
   
• Add a lavender or cedar sachet to help deter pests.
   
• A cotton ball with a drop of essential oil (lavender, cedar, or peppermint) also works well as a natural repellent.
